The board of directors held its regular meeting at the Tipmont REMC headquarters in Linden on Nov. 24, beginning at 9 a.m. All directors were present. Also attending were CEO Ron Holcomb, Manager of Finance and Administration Deb Morris, Human Resources Director Debbie Schavietello and Attorney Jeff Helmerick.
President Bob Baker opened the meeting. Board policies reviewed this month were access to corporate records, allocation and retirement of membership capital credits and attendance by members at board meetings. Holcomb submitted his report along with other staff member reports, in writing. Morris submitted the overall financials for November. The margin was $78,638, bringing our year-to-date total to $1,051,856. There were 55 new services installed in November, bringing our year-to-date total to 433. The cooperative currently has a strong equity rate of 48.76 percent.
The next meeting of the board will be Dec. 22.

Rob Ford is Tipmont and Wintek's communication director, a role he's held since 2015.
Rob has a bachelor's and a master's in Communication from Purdue University. He lives in West Lafayette with his wife and three children and has a life-sized Yoda statue in his office. Away from the office, you’ll find Rob working on his golf swing, jump shot, or hope for a Purdue basketball national title – all futile endeavors.
