The board of directors held its regular meeting at Tipmont REMC in Linden on Sept. 22 at 9 a.m. All directors were present. Also attending were CEO Ron Holcomb, Manager of Finance and Administration Deb Morris, Human Resources Director Debbie Schavietello and Attorney Jeff Helmerick.
President Bob Baker opened the meeting. Board policies reviewed this month were “reimbursement of employee travel expenses.” Holcomb submitted his report along with other staff members’ reports, in writing. Morris submitted the overall financials for August. The margin was $255,823, bringing our year-to-date total to $786,153. There were 44 new services installed in August, bringing our year-to-date total to 342. The cooperative currently has a strong equity rate of 48.40 percent.
The next meeting of the board will be Oct. 27.

Rob has a bachelor's and a master's in Communication from Purdue University. He lives in West Lafayette with his wife and three children and has a life-sized Yoda statue in his office. Away from the office, you’ll find Rob working on his golf swing, jump shot, or hope for a Purdue basketball national title – all futile endeavors.
